Golf
For the golfer, you are never more that a few minutes away from one of the many splendid courses as there are ten within a half hours drive of the villa, and 20 golf courses within 45 minutes drive. We have a comprehensive library of classic Golfing books & videos in the apartment and we are just 5 minutes drive to the La Marquesa Golf Course. We are only 10 minutes drive from the stunning La Finca Algorfa Golf Course, landscaped to perfection and surrounded by stunning countryside.

Bowling
For those of you who like to take a gentle sport, then we are ideally situated to 5 local bowling greens, perfect for those hot summer days when all you want to do is have your sport the easy way.

Cycling & Horse Riding
We have a small selection of bikes available as the local area is ideal for cycle trips, to the beach, the salt lakes or wherever you choose to spend your time. The 'salinas' of La Mata and Torrevieja are crammed full of bird-life and in season, you will be guaranteed a sight of the Flamingos.
The Nature Reserve can cater for those who wish to go Horse Riding. They can discuss your requirements with you.

Theme Parks & Attractions
The Costa Blanca has a wide range of thrills, spills and tumbles for the young and young at heart, from thundering roller-coasters to the more gentle treats of the water world. Below is a small selection of what is available

Terra Mitica (Benidorm) - Paramount Theme Park, with special attractions each year.
Aqualandia (Benidorm) - All water theme park, boasting some of the highest slides in Spain.
Aquopolis - More gentle water park on the outskirts of Torrevieja.

House Hunting

Nightlife
Spain is famous for it's Fiestas and no trip would be complete without a lively night out and in this area Torrevieja has no competition, when it comes to hospitality.
It boasts a huge selection of Cafes, Bars, Ice Cream Parlours, Restaurants and Nightclubs, whether situated on the scenic promenade or contained within the Town itself , catering to all tastes and pockets.
It also hosts the famous 'Night Market', where you can get souvenirs, clothing, books, paintings,trinkets and much more, late into the night.

Further Afield
We are situated ideally for those who wish to get a bit farther afield and are within 1 ½ hours from some of the best of the Costa, including Historical Guadalest, Picturesque Altea & Calpe, Javea, Orihuela, Murcia, Alicante City, Cartagena, La Manga and, not forgetting Benidorm.
These places and many more are easily reached by car, but if you do not want to drive, then there are many Tour companies that offer FREE trips to these and other selected destinations. See our links pages for more details.

Local Markets
Each day, there is a local market, somewhere in the area, selling local farm produce, well priced clothing, shoes, jewellery, and pretty much anything else you can think of. These are an integral part of local Spanish life and should not be missed. Here is a selection of the closest to Villa Vista.
